What is animal disease?

Animal diseases refer to animal infectious diseases, including parasitic diseases, which are divided into three classes:

Class I diseases: those that have serious harm to humans and animals and require urgent and severe compulsory prevention, control, and eradication measures, such as foot-and-mouth disease, African swine fever, highly pathogenic avian influenza, etc.

Class II diseases: those that may cause significant economic losses and require strict control and eradication measures to prevent the spread, such as rabies, brucellosis, grass carp hemorrhage, etc.

Class III diseases: common and frequent, may cause major economic losses, and need to be controlled and purified, such as colibacillosis, avian tuberculosis, turtle mumps, etc.

It includes poultry disease detection, pig disease detection, aquatic animal disease detection, ruminant disease detection and so on.

What is animal quarantine?

Animal Quarantine: Disease inspection of various animals and animal products in accordance with national regulations.

According to the "2021 National Animal Disease Compulsory Immunization Plan", the immunization requirements are clarified: the herd immunity density of highly pathogenic avian influenza, foot-and-mouth disease, peste des petits ruminants, brucellosis, and hydatid disease should be maintained above 90% all year round, Above among them, the immune density of livestock and poultry should reach 100%. The qualified rate of immune antibodies against highly pathogenic avian influenza, foot-and-mouth disease and Peste des petits ruminants should be maintained above 70% all year round. Therefore, the detection of various animal diseases becomes particularly important.

Animal Disease Testing Items

Animal diseases may cause major economic losses. In order to improve the quality of livestock and poultry products, improve the economic benefits of breeding, and promote the green, healthy and sustainable development of animal husbandry, Singuway Biotech Inc. has established a professional team, which can carry out standardized animal disease testing items for ruminants, poultry, aquatic animals and other animals, and provide comprehensive disease testing services through accurate testing and the application of reliable scientific and innovative solutions.

The animal disease detection kits launched by Singuway are used for the rapid detection and screening of animal diseases. This series of products has the advantages of simplicity, rapidity, high sensitivity and high specificity, and can be used for real-time detection of pathogenic microorganisms in animal husbandry, aquatic products, pets, feed, water and even the environment.

Packing specification: 48 tests/kit

Storage conditions and shelf life: Store in the dark at -20±5 ℃, valid for 12 months. Shipping with dry ice. Repeat freeze-thaw less than 5 times. Please refer to the outer box for the production date and expiration date.

Sensitivity: 5 copies/μl

Features:

  • Quick response, no long waiting time.
  • Simple operation and quick interpretation.
  • High sensitivity, not easy to cause false negatives.
  • High specificity, the designed primers have strong specificity, can specifically amplify the detection target without causing the amplification of other pathogenic microorganisms, and reduce the occurrence of false positives.
